C8 Research Bureau
The C8 team is amid the busy pre-summer period, with preparations well under way to launch research projects in Q3 for several of our clients, including 11:11 Systems, ThreatQuotient, a Securonix company, Panasonic, and Xalient.
These reports will position our clients as thought leaders on topics such as the migration to Windows 11; the implementation of SASE; and cybersecurity automation and AI.
Client Wrap-Up
It’s been a busy quarter on the client front, with multiple global events taking place, not to mention a record-breaking surge in coverage. The C8 team supported AnywhereNow’s roundtable to launch its rebrand, hosting media briefings with several journalists that delivered incredible traction.
We were also thrilled to see that WSO2’s Barcelona event, WSO2Con, resulted in a fantastic 39 pieces of earned media coverage – including front cover spreads. We also shipped a journalist out to the A10 Networks channel event, A10 Connect, in Portugal in May, resulting in fantastic coverage in leading channel publications.
C8 has played a key role in boosting its clients’ visibility on the global media stage. This included helping our client, Xalient, expand its media presence in Benelux by supporting with content generation and pitching ahead of Cybersec Europe. At the event, Jos Akkermans, Field CTO of EMEA held a talk on ‘Navigating the cybersecurity forest: Practical tips to survive’ for a packed audience. Furthermore, we have loved working with CedarIP, a new brand in the IP management software sector, as it soft-launched at the International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting in San Diego.
C8 was also proud to attend Veeam On Tour 2025 in London, supporting our client, 11:11 Systems, as it showcased its DRaaS leadership. The event brought together industry leaders to explore the latest in backup, disaster recovery, and ransomware protection.
Event Round-Off
C8 was out in full force at Infosecurity Europe 2025, for a few jam-packed days of networking and absorbing the latest industry insights. Our time was well-spent attending fascinating industry talks, plus multiple client lunches and catch ups.
It was great to host on-site briefings and podcast recordings for our clients Vaultree and Xalient – with high-quality coverage already appearing in Enterprise Times. We even had the joy of seeing our clients take centre stage:
- Sam Swift, Senior Director of Product Strategy and Marketing at Vaultree, delivered a fascinating session on how MSSPs can expand their offerings to strengthen supply chains.
- Holly Steele, Senior SVP of EMEA and UK at BlueVoyant, gave an inspiring talk on how fostering diversity and inclusion in business will shape the future of cybersecurity.
It was a fantastic showcase of innovation, leadership, and collaboration. We’re excited to keep the momentum going!
As we digest the key trends and insights from headline events such as Infosecurity Europe and RSA, we’ve been working closely with our clients to ensure their messaging evolves accordingly. From the rise of AI in cybersecurity, enhancing threat detection and ushering in the era of Agentic AI, to identity becoming the cornerstone of modern security strategies (after all, why break in when you can simply unlock the door?), the landscape is shifting rapidly.
We’re also seeing a growing emphasis on strengthening supply chains and fostering industry-wide collaboration, as organisations fortify their perimeters. It’s an interesting time, full of critical conversations and transformative trends that are shaping the future of cybersecurity.
C8 Content Studio
Our Content Studio has been firing on all cylinders, crafting high-impact content that cuts through the noise and truly resonates with target audiences. By blending journalistic storytelling with creative design, we’re driving deeper engagement and elevating brand visibility.
Most notably, we’ve been designing infographics for clients such as Panasonic and A10 Networks, developing video animations for A10 Networks’ FlexPool offering and shooting videos for 11:11 Systems award entries.
Boycott Your Bed
Action for Children is C8’s official charity partner for 2025, and our fundraising efforts are in full swing.
Thanks to your generosity, the C8 team successfully raised an incredible £1,442 earlier this year, supporting my run in the Reading 1020 Half Marathon. Continuing this fantastic momentum, we are excited to get behind the next fundraising activity: Boycott Your Bed!
Now entering its 28th year, Boycott Your Bed is an annual event inviting corporate teams to forgo their bed for the night, raising much-needed funds and awareness for young people in poverty. Since its launch, this annual event has raised a spectacular £14.3 million for Action for Children to be there in moments of crisis, when young people are living without a safe and loving place to sleep.
The C8 team will be taking part in the London sleep out on the 3rd of October, in addition to volunteering help. It will likely be a cold and difficult night’s sleep, but every pound raised will go towards giving a child warm clothes, hot meals, and a proper bed.
If you would like to donate to our fundraising campaign, you can do so here.
What’s on the Horizon?
We’re looking ahead to a busy Q3, kicking off July with a day of press briefings in London for our client VertiGIS. We will also be filming DiversITy-Talent’s Award Week in July, which celebrates and recognises outstanding contributions to diversity, equity and inclusion across industries. This annual event is jam packed with panels and award ceremonies that spotlight individuals, teams and organisations driving meaningful change in talent development and workplace culture.
Finally, we’ll also be rolling up our sleeves, digging deep into research data, and helping our clients execute their market research reports, ready to pitch later this year.
Have you considered launching research this year, but are unsure where to start? C8 Consulting’s Research Bureau is built to support research campaigns through everything from question development and analysis to asset creation and distribution.
Through strategic counsel, we help position our clients to lead industry conversations and leverage every asset to fuel sales and marketing campaigns. There’s a reason our clients launch research with us year on year – if you’re curious yourself, do get in touch.
