Using Splunk’s Security Analytics To Defend Against Threats

November 14, 2017By C8 ConsultingInsights

On the 25th January, Splunk and RiverSafe will be hosting a seminar on Machine Learning and Security Analytics.

C8 has been there every step of way, from booking the venue, to creating invitations, and securing attendees.

If you are re-evaluating your entire security ecosystem in response to modern cyberattacks, you’re not alone. The sophistication of these attacks and the persistent nature of advanced threats is requiring most organisations to re-think how they protect their data. The financial services industry is especially impacted.

Splunk’s analytics-driven security solutions provide a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity, including advanced techniques like machine learning and behavioural analytics. Attendees of the seminar will learn how to use these techniques to quickly identify and respond to the latest threats with RiverSafe and Splunk.

Joining us will be a specialist from Insurance Underwriting Group, Novae, to discuss the risks posed to financial services organisations. Former CISO and senior cyber security adviser Tim Burnett will be providing insight on state of the IT world, current and emerging threats, compliance, leading into artificial intelligence so as to segue into Splunk’s platform based on his own experience which spans more than a decade.

Experts from RiverSafe and Splunk will be hosting a panel and Q&A session towards the end of the event. Plus there will be a breakout session with demos so that you can get hands on with the technology and you can ask the experts, as well as drinks and networking.

Coffee and registration starts at 15.30 with presentations kicking off at 16.00 and the event wraps up at 18.00 with drinks and canapes.

Join us on 25th January 2018 at Chartered Accountants Hall, 1 Moorgate Pl, London EC2R 6EA. If you would be interested in attending, please RSVP to either Josh@c8consulting.co.uk or erin@c8consulting.co.uk
